One of Qatar’s significant pillars is the local production of vegetables and serves up to 28% of the total population. It is also planned to reach 70% of fresh produce and achieve self-sufficiency.

The rise in demand for local produce is increasing among Qatar consumers due to its best quality compared to imported products.

Qatar Govt. is also putting up tremendous efforts in new agricultural and irrigation technologies to overcome the blockades by its neighboring countries.

Large storage capacity is required to store perishable products such as fresh vegetables, which can be stored for a more extended period and reach the consumers in prime condition.
